Subject: Secret land grab deal with Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF)
Dear Mr. Ambassador,
Ethiopian people and Sudanese people lived in harmony for millennia, they live together sharing common values prior and post colonial era. Most of us still remember the music of late Said Khalifa, Mohamed Wardi and others. I believe Sudanese also remember the music of late Tilahun Gessese, Menilik Wesinachew, Bizunesh Bekele and others. Ethiopian and Sudanese people share not only borders but cultures and millennia long history and values. Ethiopia’s contribution on anti-colonial struggle was definitely undisputable. The defeat of Italian colonizer by Ethiopian lead by Emperor Menelik is remembered by all colonized nations who suffered under European colonization let alone Sudanese fellow citizens.
Unfortunately, current Ethiopia failed under the siege of Tigrian People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). Ethiopia’s natural resources are nationalized and the people of Ethiopia are the hostage of TPLF. TPLF, ethnocentric regime, as you well know is giving away fertile land of the country for kickbacks and also in the process of secret deal with the Sudanese government to give away large chunk of land as pay back for the help it received from Sudanese government when it was in the bush. This unholy deal conspired behind the people will only be a recipe for future instability and animosity. We concerned Ethiopians advice Sudanese government to back off from such deal. TPLF represents neither Ethiopia nor Ethiopian people. To conclude a deal with such tyrant regime is considered as a conspiracy against Ethiopian people and is a ticking time bomb that will not benefit Sudan in the   future. Any deal done behind the Ethiopian people will not be recognized and will be null and void as soon as this tyrant regime is gone. Dictators come and go but people live forever. Therefore, for the good of the Sudanese and Ethiopian people and for lasting relationship of the two nations, we urged the Sudanese government to refrain from instilling long lasting animosity between Ethiopian and Sudanese people.Ethiopian government secret deal with the Sudanese government
African Union and member countries;
It is fresh memory that the TPLF leader the late Meles Zenawi appealed to the United Nations for the cessation of Eritrea. However in less than half a decade, TPLF wedged a war on Eritrea and about 100,000 people died from both sides as a result of this senseless war.  In 2006 TPLF lead regime of Ethiopia marched to Somalia to fight somebody’s war and committed war crime against Somali civilians that has been documented by right groups. That was not the interest of Ethiopian people but TPLF. These two senseless and unsupported conflicts instigated animosity among peoples of neighboring countries. Furthermore, this same regime is conspiring with Sudanese government to create another animosity with Ethiopian and Sudanese people. African Union and member countries need to recognize the nature of the ruling regime in Ethiopia. TPLF is a nuisance and destabilizing force to Africa in general and East Africa in particular. Whatever deal concluded by this regime behind Ethiopian people will never be respected. It will only be a recipe for future conflict. Destabilization of Ethiopia with population of over 90Million is not something that can be overlooked.
I believe AU and member countries understand this pressing issue and intervene to block the backdoor deal of TPLF and Sudanese government.
Peace for Ethiopia! Peace for Africa!
Thank you.
