Injustice in Afar Region of Ethiopia is injustice in Germany

Afar Human Rights Statement
We learned from reliable sources that the dictator and President of Afar Regional State in Ethiopia, Mr Ismail Ali Sirro is currently visiting Berlin, the capital of Germany. The Core of Human Rights violation Areas in Afar Region of Ethiopia
The Afar people in Ethiopia have suffered a gross human rights violation during Mr Ismail Ali Sirros leadership. The number of people detained without fair trial has dramatically increased the latest years; people have been displaced from their homes and many were killed coldblooded. As highest leader of the Regional State, all crimes and corruption is taking place under President Isamails leadership, hence he is accountable for atrocities and human rights violation committed in Afar Region.
The Afar people whose majority are pastoralists, have been displaced from their land without any alternative for subsistence; they have lost their livestock and are exposed for starvation as a result of land grabbing policy of Mr Ismails leadership. There are documented testimonies that confirm the Mr Ismail personally threatened people to leave their home to facilitate sugar cane commercial farming, where those who refused were shot to death at spot. The order was given by the president of the region. Hence the crime committed by Mr Ismail Ali Sirro and the EPRDF Regime in Ethiopia is defined as crimes against humanity which is in line with the mission of the International Criminal Court.
The rampant corruption taking place in Afar Region has made Mr Ismail and his wife Mrs Fatuma Abdalla from having nothing to multimillionaires in ten years period. Moreover, there is information that the stolen many from starving population has been placed in foreign banks in Europe, North America and Asia.
Afar Human Right Organisation has been systematically following and voicing about the suffering, killings and detention of the voiceless Afar pastoralist. We believe that it’s unacceptable that dictators and murders are allowed to live in luxury in democratic countries like Germany. Therefore injustice in Afar Region should be considered as injustice in Germany and elsewhere. Hence, we appeal to German authorities and justice system to facilitate the handover of the criminals like Mr Ismail to the International Criminal Court.
